Injuries can greatly hinder someone's ability to function and severe injuries may prevent them from functioning at all.&nbsp; Here is a quick list of what injuries to various body parts will do should they occur:</p>

<li><strong>All Injuries -</strong><br />Reduction in overall health (i.e. HP damage).&nbsp; Severe damage will lead to incapacitation and death.</li>

<p>Should you find yourself alone in the 'verse and in a state where you can no longer move or worse, are incapacitated and dying, players can send out a mission beacon to request assistance from any nearby players.&nbsp;</p>
<p>If you are incapacitated, <strong>hold the M key</strong> to automatically send out a preset mission beacon. If you are using a different keyboard layout from a QWERTY layout, this may be bound to another key instead, for example <strong>on AZERTY keyboards this key is "," instead of "M"</strong> as the HUD may indicate.&nbsp; Our teams are looking into clarifying any keybind/UI conflicts for this function.</p>

<p><strong>Blood Drug Level</strong>, or <strong>BDL</strong> is a number that can be seen through your personal health status on your helmet display, or read through the use of a Curelife Medical Tool (see below). With a single exception noted below, the usage of any sort of medical or other drug will cause your BDL to increase.</p>
<p>If this number goes above 50% you will start to overdose and experience impairment such as blurred vision and mobility issues.&nbsp; This can be cured through the use of the <strong>Resurgera</strong> medical drug, also called <strong>DetoxPen</strong> in the pen form.</p>
