<h2>To SEND a Gift Card to a Friend...</h2>
|
||
<ol>
|
||
<li><a href="https://robertsspaceindustries.com/pledge/extras?product_id=60" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Buy a gift card</a>.</li>
|
||
<li>Wait 24 hours (or 30 days if it's a brand new RSI account that has never made a pledge before).</li>
|
||
<li>Set up <a href="https://support.robertsspaceindustries.com/hc/en-us/articles/115009965628" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Two-Factor Authentication</a> on the RSI account, if it has not already been activated.</li>
|
||
<li>Locate the gift card pledge in the <a href="https://robertsspaceindustries.com/account/pledges" target="_blank" rel="noopener">hangar inventory</a>.</li>
|
||
<li>Send the gift card as a gift to your friend.</li>
|
||
</ol>
|
||

<h2>To CLAIM a Gift Card for use on the Pledge Store...</h2>
|
||
<ol>
|
||
<li>Log into <a href="https://robertsspaceindustries.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">the RSI website</a> using the account you wish to claim the gift with.</li>
|
||
<li>Set up <a href="https://support.robertsspaceindustries.com/hc/en-us/articles/115009965628" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Two-Factor Authentication</a> on the RSI account, if it has not already been activated.</li>
|
||
<li>Locate the gift notification email, then click the link in that email to accept the gift.</li>
|
||
<li>Go to the <a href="https://robertsspaceindustries.com/account/pledges" target="_blank" rel="noopener">My Hangar</a> page on the site.</li>
|
||
<li>Locate the Gift Card pledge from the hangar inventory.</li>
|
||
<li>Select the reclaim option on the Gift Card and complete <a href="https://support.robertsspaceindustries.com/hc/en-us/articles/115013193627" target="_blank" rel="noopener">the reclamation process</a>.</li>
|
||
<li>Check <a href="https://support.robertsspaceindustries.com/hc/en-us/articles/360006492734" target="_blank" rel="noopener">the Account Wallet</a> to see the store credit that was added to the account.</li>
|
||

||
<p>As with <a href="https://support.robertsspaceindustries.com/hc/en-us/articles/115013193627" target="_blank" rel="noopener">the normal reclamation process</a> with any pledge, the gift card cannot be reclaimed if it is less than 24 hours old. <h3>Gift Cards and Backer Status</h3>
|
||
<p>As a gift card is <a href="https://support.robertsspaceindustries.com/hc/en-us/articles/115013325608" target="_blank" rel="noopener">considered a gift</a> and it grants store credit upon use, funds gained from reclaiming a gift card will not contribute to an RSI Account's total spent or grant backer status to the recipient.</p>
