|
||
<p>There are a few things which will prevent a player from sending a pledge as a gift to another player:</p>
|
||
<ul>
|
||
<li>
|
||
<strong>A brand new RSI account</strong> cannot start sending gifts immediately. You can start sending gifts to your friends 30 days after making your first pledge and gaining <strong>Backer</strong> status.</li>
|
||
<li>Your RSI Account must have <a href="https://support.robertsspaceindustries.com/hc/en-us/articles/115009965628" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Two-Factor Authentication</a> enabled.</li>
|
||
<li>Game packages, standalone ships, and other <strong>pledge store items may be gifted once</strong>. Once a pledge has been gifted it will be ‘<strong>locked</strong>’ to the account on which it has been accepted.</li>
|
||
<li>Pledges acquired through the use of <strong>Store Credit</strong>, either in full or in part, cannot be gifted or traded.</li>
|
||
<li>
|
||
<strong>High value pledges</strong> (above $1,000 USD) cannot be gifted or traded.</li>
|
||
<li>Pledges acquired from <strong>special promotions or rewards</strong> (like the Aegis Sabre Raven from the Intel SSD promotion) cannot be traded.</li>
|
||
<li>If the value of gifts you have already sent would total more than $1000, then you will not be able to send any further gifts for 24 hours.</li>
|
||
</ul>
|
||
<p><strong>RSI Support will not assist with circumventing these restrictions.</strong></p></div>
